Nursery Administrator
I work alongside Carole in the office three days a week.
I first became interested in the Montessori philosophy when I was fortunate enough to undertake my work experience at Absolute Angels during its first year of opening. During this time I was amazed at how effective the methods were, and enjoyed seeing the children thrive in the setting.
When I left school I stayed within the learning and development field, working as a Training Manager for the Probation Service for many years. However, I always hoped that one day I would be able to have a career that involved Montessori teaching in some way.
When a job came up at Absolute Angels in 2016, I applied straight away and happily started working in my new position in August 2016. My main role is in the office, supporting the Nursery Manager with the day to day running of the nursery. I also help in the classroom with the children, as well as having responsibility for Health and Safety in the nursery. I love the variety my role brings and enjoy the interaction with the children every day.
I have 2 children, both of whom attended Absolute Angels (one still currently attends) and there is nowhere else I would want them to go. They have both thrived and enjoyed every moment they attended the nursery.
I completed my Level 2 Montessori Early Years Classroom Assistant qualification in May 2017.
