A Day in the Life of Absolute Angels
Ages 2–5 years
8:00am – 9:00am | Arrival & Breakfast
Children arrive at nursery and, with gentle support from parents and staff, are encouraged to hang their coats and bags on their own pegs before entering the classroom to begin their day. A healthy breakfast is served.
9:00am – 12:00pm | The Work Cycle
During the morning work cycle, children have free access to an extensive range of tactile Montessori equipment. They engage in self-selected activities that nurture curiosity, concentration, and independence, including:
Mathematics
Language
Culture
Practical life skills
Understanding the world around us
Creative art
Children are free to move between indoor and outdoor environments throughout the session. We are proud to offer a fully equipped outdoor classroom alongside a safe and secure playground.
To further promote independence, children may help themselves to a healthy snack from the snack table at any time during the morning.
12:00pm | Story Time
Our wonderful team of local storytellers share stories from our extensive and carefully selected collection of books.
12:30pm | Lunch
Children bring a packed lunch and enjoy eating together with teachers, creating a relaxed and social mealtime experience.
1:00pm – 3:30pm | Afternoon Activities
In the afternoon, children continue to choose their own activities and are encouraged to spend time outdoors. We also offer a variety of extended learning opportunities, including:
Kitchen skills
Sensory exploration
Dance
Music
Exploratory art
3:30pm – 6:00pm | Wraparound Care
Wraparound care is available until 6:00pm and includes a light tea.
